Mooie versterker, maar wel kwetsbaar

In november kocht ik deze versterker. Moet hier nu dan toch wel mijn eerlijke mening over geven. In reviews is er veel enthousiasme. Ik moet deze toch iets temperen. Na een maand of 5 ging mijn versterker al stuk. Het gitaar signaal werd niet meer opgepakt en de versterker gaf alleen maar ruis als er een gitaar was ingeplugd. Ook in de app doen soms functies het niet.
Als alles het doet is het een geweldig ding met te gekke sounds. De service van Thomann was top. Het was nog garantie werk en ik heb een nieuwe versterker gekregen. Hopelijk gaat deze niet stuk na enkele maanden. Ik twijfel of ik de versterker zou aanraden. Gewoon omdat ik hem onbetrouwbaar vind in zijn functies.

Als bluetooth speaker bagger. Maar daar is hij dus eigenlijk niet voor bedoelt. Ik gebruikt hem voornamelijk voor mijn elektrische cello. Match made in heaven. Doormiddel van de software kan je zo ontzettend veel met de klankt doen. Heeft de lieft voor mijn cello weer helemaal aangewakkerd!!

I needed a small amp that I can easily carry on my bicycle for jazz combo gigs in small venues. Getting a great jazz sound is quite important to me, and since the other small amps I tried were "just OK" I decided to take a chance on the Spark 2 before its official release.

The setup and learning curve were quick, and I was able to dial in a very convincing Deluxe Reverb tone easily. The next night I took it to rehearsal with 16 piece Latin jazz orchestra with drums and percussion. This group is LOUD, and the Spark 2 held its own - I was even asked to turn it down! Since then I've had lots of compliments from other musicians. The FRFR sounds great when streaming music with Bluetooth, so now I find I'm using the Spark 2 for practice more than my main amp.

I've only just scratched the surface of features and tones, and I'm really happy with it. My only criticism is a small one: there is no spring reverb, and the alternatives are good but not great.
